What is IONM?

Intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM) offers insight into the nervous system during spine, brain, vascular or nerve related surgeries. The purpose of IONM is to directly reduce the risk of neurological deficits during surgical procedures by providing real-time alerts and feedback to the surgeon.

A board certified technologist and overseeing neurologist will work together to provide the highest quality data to your surgeon during your procedure. All of our technologists are board certified/eligible by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET).
